We have recently come across an alternative material for bending tubes etc.,
It is a polymer resin, but not with the characteristics normally associated with resins. Supplied in minimum quantities of 1 kilo (approx 1 litre) as a white flaked product.
Conveniently it melts at 70 dec°C and can be re-used over and over.
Similar in many respects to, but much cheaper than, bendalloy and cerrobend etc., which are normally used for section and tube bending operations. It is biodegradable, soluble in water and non-toxic.
